What a solar panel on a power bank actually does
It trickle charges. The panel on a pocket-sized power bank produces a few hundred milliamps in direct sun, which means days of exposure to fill a 10,000 mAh cell rather than the hours a wall socket takes. It is a genuine emergency backup and a genuine sustainability signal. It is not a charging method, and any campaign that implies otherwise will be corrected by the first recipient who tries it.
How to position it correctly
Sell it as insurance: the pack is charged from the wall before a trip, and the panel keeps it topped up when there is no wall for three days. That is true, useful, and the actual reason people buy these for hiking, camping, disaster-preparedness kits and field teams.

Practical notes
