The all-in-one argument
The Journey AC packs are the ones worth understanding. They combine a 10,000 or 20,000 mAh battery with a built-in wall adapter, so the recipient charges the pack straight from the socket with no separate brick and no cable. For a travel gift that removes two of the three things people forget.
Mag Max and Qi2
The Mag Max line snaps magnetically to iPhone 12 and later and charges while clinging to the back of the phone. The Elite Mag and Magpad models are Qi2, which means tested alignment and up to 15W rather than a generic magnet. On Android the magnets do not engage without a magnetic case — the charger still works as a plain pad.
Lead times need watching
